XIV International Festival of Animation Arts “Multivision” – CALL FOR ENTRIES!

<i>The 14th annual Multivision Festival will take place October 28 – November 20, 2016, in St.Petersburg, Russia.
The Best Street Animation competition will be held open air at the night 13 to 14 August</i>

It features the competition of animated shorts projected onto a giant 400 sq.m. screen installed at a drawbridge in the city center, for the attenntion of about 30 000 spectators. Admission free. The Best Street Animation competition is a part of Multivision festival.<!–more–>

We are waiting for your submissions to short animated film competition in all nominations, and to video installations competition as well.
The professional jury of well-known professionals in animation will award the following nominations:

The Grand-Prix of the festival;
The Best story
The Best visual imagery;
The Best animated film for children;
The Best animation, made by children;
The Best student animation;
The Best experimental animated film
The Best animation video installation
The Best Street Animation prize
And other mentions according to the Jury decision

<strong>The deadline for submitting your entry is 01.08.15
</strong>
The festival selection will be announced 1 October 2015, the selection for the Best Street Animation competition will be announced at 5 August.
All selected films will be presented for consideration of the professional jury and will be screened for public at the cinema centre “Rodina”. Films, selected for the Best Street Animation competition, will be screend also at the Troitsky bridge at night 13 to 14 August.
All selected video installations will be demonstrated at the festival exhibition at the “Erarta” Museum of Contemporary Art

On 20 November 2004, at the Baltiskii Dom theatre in St. Petersburg, Multivision 2004, the 2nd International Festival of Animation Art, took place to huge public response.

On the second year of its existence, the festival had considerably expanded its program including an all night marathon screening and a day time children’s programme. And, for the first time, a competition was held for the best animation films in various categories.
